About the ProgramOur Adult Program welcomes everyone aged 14 and up with an interest in learning Yoshinkan Aikido in a non-competitive and encouraging atmosphere. While we do follow a testing syllabus recognised by the Honbu Dojo in Japan, students train at their own pace and can start their training at any time. Yoshinkan Aikido places emphasis on kihon dosa (basic movements) designed to develop proper posture and a strong center core. Through this form of repetitive training, we are constantly improving our attitude, flexibility, stamina and health. In the Adult Program you will learn Aikido in high detail. As instructors we do our best to offer students guidance in mastering their technique.
